Buidhe Lodge, the home of David, Josephine and Libby Eatts, is situated in the Southern Vales wine and almond producing area south of Adelaide in South Australia.  We have a small acreage with lots of room for our dogs, cats and a horse.

Many years ago we were briefly involved in showing Cocker Spaniels.  We had a lovely Golden Cocker Spaniel who once took out a Puppy in Show Award, of which we were justly proud.

In 1989 we decided to become involved in the World of Golden Retrievers, and particularly wanted to have a Golden that we could show and breed with.   Please visit our Golden Retriever pages and meet our lovely Golden family. Whingate Little Dandy  - our first Yorkshire Terrier - came to live with us and our Golden family in 1990 at 12 months of age. Dandy was a great showman and very quickly gained his Championship Title.  Yorkmanor Lady Penelope (Penny) soon joined our family and the rest is history. The first of our 10 Yorkie litters was in 1994. We only breed occasionally and have had many successes in the showring with our little Yorkie family - 10 Australian Champions (8 homebred)  todate and that includes two Grand Champions -  the 3rd and 5th Yorkshire Terriers in Australia to achieve this status.
