~Receipe of the Month~

SALSBURY STEAK SUPREME
1 1/4 lbs ground beef
1/3cup bread crumbs
1 egg
1/8 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 can mushroom soup
2 slices bacon
1/4 cup burgandy
1/3 cup water
1 clove garlic minced
1/4 tsp marjoram
Lightly mix beef, bread crumbs, egg, salt, pepper,
1/4 cup soup. Form oval patties about
3/4" thick. In a skillet cook bacon until crisp.
Brown patties in bacon grease, wisk together
soup...dash of pepper...wine...water..garlic...marjoram.
Heat and pour over patties, but
pieces of bacon on top. Cover with
tinfoil and bake in a 375 degree oven for 30 minutes.
Serve with buttered noodles and glazed
carrots. A favorite in my family!!!
