Till Death Do Us Part - My Tribute to Liz

Jack and Liz - October 12, 1957

Elizabeth, thy name is: Family; Love; Determination; Protection; Charity; Friendship; Concern; Thoughtfulness; Forgiving; Generous; Beauty; Mercy; Unselfishness; Respect; Truth and Liz.

My friend of 46 years, my wife and friend of 43 years, mother of my children, and keeper of my house can not be described in just words. Liz is sensed, felt, experienced, but especially loved.

She is loved by all she touched in any way. She is respected as many would want but some can't be. She was and continues to be My Life.

Elizabeth Taylor, not the movie star,

Our Shining Star...

On Saturday,March 27,1954 I met Liz...On Saturday,December 16,2000 I said my goodbyes...But she is not truly gone...

The following is a poem I found in one of the many writing pads she kept around the house:

Do Not Stand At My Grave and Weep

Do not stand at my grave and weep;

I am not there, I do not sleep.

I am a thousand winds that blow;

I am the diamond glints on snow.

I am the sunlight on ripened grain;

I am the gentle autumn's rain.

When you awaken in the morning's hush,

I am the swift uplifting rush

Of quiet birds in circled flight.

I am the soft star that shines at night.

Do not stand at my grave and cry.

I am not there; I did not die.

She Thought of The Inevitable

Even Death Will Not Part Us

She Was And Is Always There

The Following Poem Was Presented With a Plant. The Plant Was Given By Our Neighbors Pete & Brigette Roman.

Liz's Sister Fran (Almost 10 years old)
and Liz (Almost 4 years old)

I have known love that most only dream of.

I have shared my life with one having no equal.

I can not hope to find another to match her.

I now look forward to waiting till I can be with her again.

What God has joined together lasts forever.
