Shortened Version of the Officers' Good-Bye Letter

To our Class, the Class of 1998,

The countdowns are officially over. Another school year has come to an end, but this time, we cannot look forward to September to catch up on summer crushes, beach trips, camps or even summer school. After 1998, we simply look back at memories and a school that has given us an education and friends. These four years have been extremely wonderful and enjoyable. As the senior class officers, we thank you on behalf of all the class of 1998 officers. Every one of you, who have helped us, whether it was stapling class sheets or donating money to the Penny War, deserves to be recognized. This is our Class, and we are proud to have served you as officers.

Hopefully, graduation will not be the end. High school was also the place where each of us developed our personalities, shaped our future and prepared ourselves to deal with life's many obstacles. We hope through whatever lies ahead, all of us will be able to cherish the memories close to our hearts, and we will always be grateful that we were able to spend these years together. We have been through a lot together and we hope our Class can keep in touch as we move off in our different directions. People may change and grow distant, but remember friends are friends forever. Remember all the friends you have made during the years. All of our friends have added something to our lives. Let us not forget each other.

We, the graduating Class of 1998, worked extremely hard to receive our diplomas, and as class officers, we can only express our sincere appreciation to you and the entire school community for all your spirit, support, cooperation and help over the past four years. We will always remember what you have done for us.

Best of luck.

Love always,

Derek Wan, President
Danielle Rice, Vice President
Michele Cassidy, Corresponding Secretary
Desiree Bomm, Recording Secretary
Daniel Unkel, Treasurer
