The SHEFFIELD genealogy is the history of the descendants of Thomas SHEFFIELD, who lived in Sudbury, Suffolk County, England and was born in the mid 1550's. His son was Edmund and four of his sons, the four SHEFFIELD brothers, traveled to America in the 1640's. The four brothers are Edmund II, William, Amos, and Ichabod. I am a direct descendant of Ichabod SHEFFIELD.
This is a genealogical journey to visit over 660 direct ancestors including over 150 family groups. Travel from the East Boston roots to Glastonbury, CT; Stonington, CT; Westerly, RI, Kingstown, RI; Portsmouth, RI; and back to Sudbury, Suffolk County, England.
