Major League Baseball's Offseason Priorities

After the 2002 season, the Cubs knew that they needed to make major changes to the team. The Cubs had a terrible season in 2002 with a 67-95 record to show for it. However, this offseason the Cubs have worked on three major areas, which might make them have a chance of winning the World Series in 2003. Here is what the Cubs have accomplished this offseason:


Acquired new manager.

Strengthened the bullpen.

Strengthened the bench.
