| Hello! I am an American Christian woman. I live in the United States in the state of Illinois just outside of the beautiful city of Chicago. I have three grown children, four grandsons, and one granddaughter. Having discovered the internet world around 1999 I have found great enjoyment in "meeting" so many interesting people online from all over the world. In fact it was online that I met my last husband, a Palestinian man from Jordan. He has unfortunately left me as of June 2005 but we remain good friends. I have traveled to other parts of the United States, Canada, France and England to visit quite a few of the many people who have become friends over the internet and hope to continue to meet many more. I learned Spanish while in high school, but it was with the Cuban refugees who arrived in Chicago in the 60's, not at school. My oldest son's father was Cuban and then I married a Mexican man, and was married for 20 years, and had my second son and my daughter. I chose to teach my children Spanish as their first language as a valuable part of their heritage. I did study French for four years in high school but having no one to speak French with here in Chicago, I forgot most of what I had learned. However, chatting online with many very patient French-speaking people, I have re-learned, though admittedly poorly, the French, I had lost. While I was married to an Arab man I tried very hard to learn to speak and understand Arabic, but I found it very difficult and was not very successful. The most important thing in my life is my faith in God. Life can take many turns, but through all the changes, both good and bad, Jesus stays forever the same, always faithful to His promises. I'm not perfect, only forgiven because of what Jesus did for me. Out of His great love. He died in my place, took the punishment I deserve and came into my life to be with me through each day, helping me to choose His will for my life. And I know for sure that I will spend eternity with Him in Heaven. If you are not sure of where you'll be one minute after you die, come talk with me online.
