We are thrilled to announce the arrival of a wee brother for Jacare named: Tioram Thomas McDonough Tioram is pronounced "Cheerum" and means 'dry' in Scottish Gaelic. Castle Tioram, on the West Coast near Fort William, was the ancient seat of the McDonalds of Clan Ranald.
Thomas is Denise's paternal grandfather's name. It is also his father's name, and his father before that was also called Thomas, so it's quite a significant name in the Rowland family. It also appears in Denise's mother's family, including Denise's mother's uncle. |

Tioram was born at home at 11 : 59 am on the 7 th of July, 1999, after a marathon, stop-start labour. He weighed 8lbs 14 ozs/ 4.07kg on 7/7/99. Everyone is well and over the moon.
Jacare is excited though understandably a wee bit unsettled, and loves the fire engine Tioram 'brought with him' as a present for his big brother.
