Australian Sunsrise

The Rising Sun

As the night creeps away to another place,
The sun finally shows its face.
    Rolling high bold and bright,
Reaching out with beams of light.

As my room is filled with gleem,
I wake up from my long dreams.
The friendly warmth makes me glad inside,
It fills me with joy and great pride.

It makes me proud of my sweet home,
That special world of my very own.
And it all happens when I open my eyes,
During the warm and silent sunrise.
