The happiest business in all the world
is that of making friends,
And no investment on the street
pays larger dividends,
For life is more than stocks and bonds,
and love than rate percent,
And he who gives in friendship's name
shall reap what he has spent.
FRIENDS ARE YOUR MOST VALUABLE ASSETS!!

The ABC's of Friendship

A Friend....

Accepts you as you are
Believes in "you"
Calls you just to say "HI"
Doesn't give up on you
Envisions the whole of you (even the unfinished parts)
Forgives your mistakes
Gives unconditionally
Helps you
Invites you over
Just because
Keeps you close at heart
Loves you for who you are
Makes a difference in your life
Never Judges
Offers support
Picks you up
Quiets your fears
Raises your spirits
Says nice things about you
Tells you the truth when you need to hear it
Understands you
Values you
Walks beside you
Xxoxoxoxxxoooxxoxo
Yells when you won't listen and
Zaps you back to reality

Never underestimate the power of a
"TRUE FRIEND"

There's a wonderful thing
that gold cannot buy
"A Blessing"
that's rare and true
and that's the gift
of a wonderful friend ,
like the friend I have in
YOU!

"Making a friend takes a moment.
Being a friend takes a lifetime!"

For you, Friends!

Every evening
as I'm laying here in bed
This little prayer keeps running
through my mortal head.

God bless my mom
and bless my little child
and take care of life
when things start gettin wild....
and God there's one more thing
I wish that you could do
hope ya don't mind me askin'
but 'PLEASE' bless my 'puter too??

Now I know that it's not normal
to bless a mother board
but listen just a second
while I explain to you, "MY LORD"
you see, that little metal box
holds more than odds and ends.
inside those small components
rest a hundred of my 'BEST FRIENDS'

Some it's true I've never seen
and most I've never met
we've never shaken hands
or shared a meal as yet...

I know for sure they like me
by the kindnesses that they give
and this little scrap of metal
is how I travel to where they live.

by faith is how I know them
much the same as I know you.
I share in what life brings them
from that our friendship grew.

'PLEASE' take an extra minute
from your duties up above...
to bless this hunk of metal
that's filled with so much love.

~FRIENDSHIP~

Friendship is a strange thing.
We find ourselves telling each other
the deepest details of our lives ...
things we don't even share
with the families who raised us.
But what is a friend?
A confidant?
A shoulder to cry on?
An ear to listen?
A heart to feel?
A friend is all these ... and more.
No matter where we met,
no matter how long we've been together ...
I call you friend.
A word so small,
yet so large in feeling,
a word filled with emotion,
a word everflowing with love.
Truly great things come in small packages.
Once the package of friendship has been opened,
it can never be closed.
It is a constant book always waiting ...
waiting to be read ... and enjoyed.
We may have our disagreements ...
we may have our disappointments ...
we may argue ...
we may concern one another ...
friendship is a unique bond that lasts through all tribulations.
A part of each of us goes into our friendships ...
our humor ...
our experiences ...
our tears.
Friendships are foundations ...
necessary for life ... and love.
Friends ... you and me ...
you brought another friend
and then we were three ...
we started our group ...
our circle of friends ...
there is no beginning ...
there is no end.

Behind each keyboard 'round the world,
a person types the words
sharing thoughts and memories,
and feelings left unheard.
Each finger has a tale to tell,
behind each key, a heart,
an untold wish, a fervent prayer,
true friends, though far apart.
We reach across the depths of space
to take each other's hand,
and link our souls in unity
to help each other stand.
We laugh and cry and share as one,
though never may we see,
the face behind each monitor,
of special friends to me.
