wilfs memorial
In memory of Wilf

This page is dedicated to Wilf, who died suddenly July 16, 1997 at the age of 51.

To me he was everything, my partner, my soulmate, my lover and my best friend. He taught me more about love in the short time we were together than most people learn in a lifetime.

When we first met he was eighteen and I was seventeen. Although back then we formed an instant bond fate led us on different paths for almost 25 years. When we met again it was like the intervening years had disappeared.

It's hard to find words to describe Wilf - his intelligence, honesty, integrity, and generosity had no measure.

A retired Major from the Canadian Air Force, he had two Masters Degrees and dedicated his life to helping others. In the Air Force he was a Personnel Selection Officer, guiding enlisted men towards their career goals. After his military retirement he became a member of the provincial government's Human Resources Development team as a Career Councilor, again helping others fulfill their life's aim.

He had hopes, he had dreams, and he had a love for life - that is now my legagy.

Wilf, you are gone, but you will never die, because you will live forever in my heart.
