LUCIFER
THE BEAUTIFUL ONE
“YET THOU ART BUT A MAN”
One of the questions I have always had, “Where is the story of Lucifer?”
I can not tell you how many times I have asked that question.
And always the subject has been changed or I have been given an answer that
did not make much sense to me.
For if I truly believe that everything under the sun, on the earth, in the world, is in the Bible; Then the story of Lucifer should also be there. One day when I was reading the Word I found that Ezekial 28 started making sense to me. I have come to realize the reason for this fuller understanding. One, is the Holy Spirits’ teaching, the second, is that the more familiar you are with the Word, the more you see how the overlay of the scriptures fits together.

Following is three verses that overlay one another and see if it makes it clearer for you as it did for me. These verses are not in the same time frame necessarily but they do speak of the same person.

(Ezek 28:1-2 KJV) "The word of the LORD came again unto me, saying, Son of man, say unto the prince of Tyrus, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thine heart is lifted up, and thou hast said, I am a God, I sit in the seat of God, in the midst of the seas; yet thou art a man, and not God, though thou set thine heart as the heart of God:"

(2 Th 2:3-4 KJV) "Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God."

(Isa 14:13-14 KJV) "For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High."

Now there was only one that has always thought he was as God and that was Lucifer. We know in 2 Thessalonians it is referring to the antichrist, the son of perdition. Whereas, the first verse in Ezekial might have been when Lucifer was here on earth the first time. But it is very obviously the same person being spoken of, Lucifer.

Then when you read, “Except there come a falling away first,” do you realize this is referring to the church? How can the church, those who profess to know Jesus as their Lord, fall away from the Living God? Because the deception that will be coming, upon the face of the whole earth, will be of such a magnitude that if it were possible, it would fool the elect. How can you be assured of knowing you are one of the elect? If you know your scriptures and obey the Word of the Lord, and most importantly have Jesus in your heart, as your Lord, you do not have to doubt, you are of the elect.

Have you ever noticed that when something supernatural happens that people think it is from God? We must always remember that the fallen angels of old were beautiful. This is where scripture tells us how to test the Spirits. If when asked, “Who is Jesus Christ to you?” if that spirit can not confess that Jesus is Lord, that spirit is not of God.

Now we have all been accustomed to testing the spirits more in a spiritual realm. What I am saying here, that a day is coming, when we will be testing the spirits in the physical realm. And we have no need to be afraid, for we must always look to the Lord Jesus for our protection. I am not told to fight against any spirits, rather I am to stand fast, I am to use my Sword which it the Word of Christ. I shall not draw any blood nor destroy any spirit. That is something the Lord has already done. I am to just stand in victory and the enemy shall have to flee. Now can you see again how important it is that you know your scriptures.

Verse 2 of Ezekial 28 refers to this son of perdition; the anti-christ, the one who will come to deceive the nations. And did you notice where God said, “ YET THOU ART A MAN.” So when anyone tells you that the anti-christ is just symbolic of our world you can show them how God says , “YET THOU ART A MAN.”

LUCIFER WAS WISER THAN ALL AND HAD ALL UNDERSTANDING
BUT WAS RUINED BECAUSE OF HIS PRIDE, AND RICHES.
HE WAS FOOLISH ENOUGH TO THINK HE WAS AS GOD.

(Ezek 28:3-5 KJV) "Behold, thou art wiser than Daniel; there is no secret that they can hide from thee: With thy wisdom and with thine understanding thou hast gotten thee riches, and hast gotten gold and silver into thy treasures: By thy great wisdom and by thy traffic hast thou increased thy riches, and thine heart is lifted up because of thy riches:"

Do you see where it talks of the riches Lucifer had put into his treasury? Does this mean that there was a system of barter in his day? He had great wisdom and used it in his trade and increased his riches.

(Dan 2:20-23 KJV) "Daniel answered and said, Blessed be the name of God for ever and ever: for wisdom and might are his: And he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding: He revealeth the deep and secret things: he knoweth what is in the darkness, and the light dwelleth with him. I thank thee, and praise thee, O thou God of my fathers, who hast given me wisdom and might, and hast made known unto me now what we desired of thee: for thou hast now made known unto us the king's matter."

Do you see the difference between Lucifer and Daniel? God gave them both wisdom and we can see two very different outcomes. Does Daniel acknowledge who gives Wisdom? Yes, Daniel gives all the credit to the Lord. He thanks the Lord and praises Him. Does he sound prideful of what the Lord has given him? No, for Daniel must have the Spirit of the Fear of the Lord.

(Dan 5:11-12 KJV) "There is a man in thy kingdom, in whom is the spirit of the holy gods; and in the days of thy father light and understanding and wisdom, like the wisdom of the gods, was found in him; whom the king Nebuchadnezzar thy father, the king, I say, thy father, made master of the magicians, astrologers, Chaldeans, and soothsayers; Forasmuch as an excellent spirit, and knowledge, and understanding, interpreting of dreams, and showing of hard sentences, and dissolving of doubts, were found in the same Daniel, whom the king named Belteshazzar: now let Daniel be called, and he will show the interpretation."

Daniel was given the Spirit of Wisdom, the Spirit of Understanding. He was also given the gift of knowledge and interpretation. Does God give to us more than one gift at a time? Yes, He does.

(Ezek 28:6-10 KJV) "Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thou hast set thine heart as the heart of God; Behold, therefore I will bring strangers upon thee, the terrible of the nations: and they shall draw their swords against the beauty of thy wisdom, and they shall defile thy brightness. They shall bring thee down to the pit, and thou shalt die the deaths of them that are slain in the midst of the seas. Wilt thou yet say before him that slayeth thee, I am God? but thou shalt be a man, and no God, in the hand of him that slayeth thee. Thou shalt die the deaths of the uncircumcised by the hand of strangers: for I have spoken it, saith the Lord GOD."

(Rev 19:20-21 KJV) "And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone. And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh."

(Rev 20:1-3 KJV) "And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season."

Satan will be cast down into the bottomless pit and be shut up with a seal set upon him. Isn’t it wonderful to know that Our Lord Jesus has the victory?
