Wetback Wav El Paso is on the border between Texas and Mexico, so my friend RICK teases me about being a Wetback. He is a great singer, listen to this fantastic Wav he made for me.
Amanda Marie and Anthony Joseph...my 8 year old daughter and 6 year old son. Amanda is in Third Grade, and loves to read, especially Harry Potter books, and to play on the computer. Tony is in Kindergarten, and he is one of 21 of my students. Poor child! He loves to draw, make messes, and torment his older sisters.
~Hannah said "Do you remember me? I am the woman you saw standing here, praying to the Lord. I asked Him for this child, and He gave me what I asked for. So I am dedicating him to the Lord. As long as he lives, he will belong to the Lord." ~1 Samuel 2:26-28
Tameka Jo and Cathy Marie...My 12 year old and 10 year old. Smart, sweet,
hard-working, and very loving....they are both blessings and a delight!
Often called "the Girls"...they are almost one person, so close are they
to one another! They are into sports, especially volleyball and basketball. The reason I am never home, is due to their practices and games.
~ Not flesh of my flesh, nor bone of my bone, But still miraculously my very own. Never forget for a single minute, You didn't grow under my heart, but in it.~ Anonymous
A family picture...This is a picture of my husband's entire family. You
will find my husband, Paul Allen, up at the top of the page, in the white
turtleneck. You can also see the page I was made for him..just hit your back button, and go to "Paul's Page". And in the center of the picture, is my mother-in-law, Marjorie
(Grandma), who also lives here in El Paso. This picture was taken
at a family reunion, in Breckenridge, Colorado, November 1997.
Loretta and Leo ...My
mom and dad. They were married for over 50 years, 11 children (YES! I said 11...but my mom came from a family of 18 children..YES!I said 18)! My dad was diagnosed with cancer, and after just four months, the cancer won. He died November 1st, 2001. He was the greatest man I ever knew. My mom is a homemaker and part-time babysitter. And the best cook that ever lived. A thousand miles, from Pine Ridge to El
Paso, is an awfully big distance ... and I sure do miss them! And even at my age, I still get homesick.
Grandpa Tom...This handsome
cowboy is my grandfather. A REAL cowboy, he lived a hard and simple life.
He came from a Czechoslavakian family of immigrants, and married into the
Lakota tribe. He is buried on the reservation, next to my Grandmother, and one of my sisters.
