I am a Tenor in Choir, and also sing some Bass parts. This year I am also a member of the Varsity Voices which is an elite group of singers at our school.
This past year, I had a role in the play "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat." I was one of the brothers and also had a solo in the play. I also appeared in the production of the "Miracle Worker." Loving the theater, I also participate in the technical side of it. Being the Properties Manager and on the Business Crew also keeps me very busy.
I participated in the drama group where we had to take a play and rewrite it and perform it in a different way then the original author expected it to be performed. In our creative writing group we created a yearbook for everyone to take home. We included information about each camper, their picture, information about what each group did, and most importantly everyone at camp wrote a little essay on what they had learn at camp.
The most important thing most of us learn was how to live in a group setting with so many different people. Each one of us was unique in our own way but we still learned how to work as a group. We participated in sports every day, but the difference in sports at this camp is that all the games are non competitive. I enjoyed my experience at this camp very much and wish I could return this year. Below is a picture of me(I am the one on the right) with my two room mates at High Scopes.
