saw Him go into heaven."

5.But in accordance with your hardness and your impenitent heart you
are treasuring up for yourself
wrath in the day of wrath and revelations of the righteous judgement
of God. 6.who will render to
each one according to his deeds. 7.eternal life to those who by patient
continuance in doing good
seek for glory, honor, and immortality; 9.tribulation and anguish,
on every soul of man who does evil,
of the Jew first and also to the Greek. 11.For there is no partiality
with God. 12.For as many as have
sinned without law will also perish without law, and as many as have
sinned in the law will be judged
by the law. 13.for not the hearers of the law are just in the sight
of God, but the doers of the law will
be justified;
Romans 5:9(Verse 9 1 John 1:7, 1 Thessalonians 1:10)
9.Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall
be saved from wrath through
Him.
Romans 6:4-5(Verse 4 Colossians 2:12, 1 Corinthians 6:14, 2 Corinthians
5:17, Galatians 6:15,
Ephesians 4:22, Hebrews 12:1-2, 1 Peter 4:1, Verse 5 Ephesians 2:5-6,
Philippians 3:10)
4.Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that
just as Christ was raised from
the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in
newness of life. 5.For if have
been united together in the likeness of His death, certainly we also
shall be in the likeness of His
resurrection.
Romans 8:16-23(Verse 16 2 Corinthians 1:22, Ephesians 1:13, Verse 17

3:13, 1 John 3:2, Verse 20 Genesis 3:19, Verse 22 Jeremiah 12:11, Verse
23 2 Corinthians 5:5,
Luke 20:36)
16.The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children
of God, 17.and if children,
then heirs-heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer
with Him, that we may also be
glorified together. 18.For I consider that the sufferings of this present
time are not worthy to be
compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. 19.For the earnest
expectation of the creation
eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God. 20.For the creation
was subjected to futility, not
willingly, but because of Him who subjected it in hope; 21.because
the creation itself also will be
delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty
of the children of God. 22.For we
know that the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs together
until now. 23.Not only that,
but we also who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves
groan within ourselves eagerly
waiting for the adoption, the redemption of our body.
1 Corinthians 1:7-8(Verse 8 1 Thessalonians 5:23, 2 Thessalonians 3:3)
7.so that you come short in no gift, eagerly waiting for the revelation
of our Lord Jesus Christ, 8.who
will also confirm you to the end, that you may be blameless in the
day of our Lord Jesus Christ.
1 Corinthians 5:5(Verse 5 Psalms 109:6, Acts 26:18, 1 Timothy 1:20)
5.deliver such a one to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that
his spirit may be saved in the day of
the Lord Jesus.
1 Corinthians 6:14(Verse 14 Acts 2:24, Romans 6:5, 2 Corinthians 4:14,
Ephesians 1:19)
14.And God both raised up the Lord and will also raise us up by His
power.
1 Corinthians 11:26(Verse 26 Acts 1:11, 1 Corinthians 11:4-5, Hebrews
9:28)
26.For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim
the Lord's death till He comes.
1 Corinthians 15:20-58(Verse 20 1 Peter 1:3, Acts 26:23, Verse 21 Romans

7:25, Psalms 98:1, Verse
58 2 Chronicles 15:7, Psalms 19:11, Isaiah 3:10)
20.But now Christ is risen from the dead, and has become the firstfruits
of those who have fallen
asleep. 21.For since by man came death, by Man also came the resurrection.
22.For as in Adam all
die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive. 23.But each one in
his own order: Christ the firstfruits,
afterward those who are Christ's at His coming. 24.Then comes the end,
when He delivers the
kingdom to God the Father, when He puts an end to all rule and all
authority and power. 25.For He
must reign till He has put all enemies under His feet. 26.The last
enemy that will be destroyed is
death. 27.For He has put all things under His feet. But when He says
all things are put under Him, it
is evident that He who put all things under Him is excepted. 28.Now
when all things are made
subject to Him, then the Son Himself will also be subject to Him who
put all things under Him, that
God may be all in all. 29.Otherwise, what will they do who are baptized
for the dead, if the dead do
not rise at all? Why then are they baptized for the dead? 30.And why
do we stand in jeopardy every
hour? 31.I affirm, by the boasting in you which I have in Christ Jesus
our Lord, I die daily. 32.If, in
the manner of men, I have fought with beasts at Ephesus, what advantage
is it to me? If the dead do
not rise, Let us eat and drink for tomorrow we die! 33.Do not be deceived:
Evil company corrupts
good habits. 34.Awake to righteousness, and do not sin; for some do
not have the knowledge of
God. I speak this to your shame. 35.But someone will say, How are the
dead raised up? And with
what body do they come? 36.Foolish one, what you sow is not made alive
unless it dies. 37.And
what you sow, you do not sow that body that shall be, but mere grain-perhaps
wheat or some other
grain. 38.But God gives it a body as He pleases, and to each seed its
own body. 39.All flesh is not
the same flesh, but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh
of animals, another of fish, and
another of birds. 40.There are also celestial bodies and terrestrial
bodies; but the glory of the celestial
is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another. 41.There is one
glory of the sun, another glory of the
moon, and another glory of the stars; for one star differs from another
star in glory. 42.So also is the
resurrection of the dead. The body is sown in corruption, it is raised
in incorruption. 43.It is sown in
dishonor, it is raised in glory. It is sown in weakness, it is raised
in power. 44.It is sown a natural
body, it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there
is a spiritual body. 45.And so it
is written, The first man Adam became a living being. The last Adam
became a life-giving spirit.
46.However, the piritual is not first, but the natural, and afterward
the spiritual. 47.The first man was
of the earth, made of dust; the second Man is the Lord form heaven.
48.As was the man of dust, so
also are those who are made of dust; and as is the heavenly Man, so
also are those who are
heavenly. 49.And as we have borne the image of the man of dust, we
shall also bear the image of the
heavenly Man. 50.Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot
inherit the kingdom of God;
nor does corruption inherit incorruption. 51.Behold, I tell you a mystery:
We shall not all sleep, but
we shall all be changed- 52.in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye,
at the last trumpet. For the
trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and
we shall be changed. 53.For this
corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
54.So when this
corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality,
then shall be brought to
pass the saying that is written: Death is swallowed up in victory.
55.O Death, where is your sting? O
Hades, where is your victory? 56.The sting of death is sin, and the
strength of sin is the law. 57.But
thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
58.Therefore, my beloved
brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of
the Lord, knowing that your
labor is not in vain in the Lord.
2 Corinthians 1:14(2 Corinthians 1:5, 12, Philippians 2:16)
14.(as also you have understood us in part), that we are your boast
as you also are ours, in the day
of the Lord Jesus.
2 Corinthians 4:14
14.knowing that He who raised up the Lord Jesus will also raise us
up with Jesus, and will present us
with you.
2 Corinthians 7:10(Verse 10 2 Samuel 12:13, Jeremiah 31:18-20, Matthew
26:75, Matthew 27:4-5,
Genesis 4:13)
10.For godly sorrow produces repentance leading to salvation, not to
be regretted; but the sorrow of
the world produces death.
Galatians 1:4(Verse 4 1 John 2:2, Isaiah 65:17, Matthew 26:42, Luke
22:42, John 15:19)
4.who gave Himself for our sins, that He might deliver us from this
present evil age, according to the
will of our God and Father.
Galatians 6:7-9(Verse 71 Corinthians 6:9, Job 13:9, Luke 16:25, Verse
8 James 3:18, Verse 9 2
Thessalonians 3:13, Matthew 24:13)
7.Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that
he will also reap. 8.For he
who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who
sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit
reap everlasting life. 9.And let us not grow weary while doing good,
for in due season we shall reap if
we do not lose heart.
Ephesians 1:14(Verse 14 2 Corinthians 5:5, Romans 8:23, Acts 20:28)
14.who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of
the purchased possession, to the
praise of His glory.
Ephesians 4:30(Verse 30 Psalms 78:40, Isaiah 63:10, Romans 8:23)
30.And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed
for the day of redemption.
Philippians 1:6-29(Verse 6 John 6:29, Verse 7 Ephesians 3:1, Philippians
1:4, 14, Verse 9 Philemon
6, Verse 10 Romans 12:2, Acts 24:16, Verse 11 John 15:4, Verse 13,
Philippians 1:4, 22, Verse 15
Philippians 1:2-3, Verse 19 2 Corinthians 1:11, Romans 8:9, 1 Peter
1:11, Verse 20 Romans 5:5,
Verse 23 2 Corinthians 5:8, Luke 2:29-30, Verse 28 Isaiah 41:10, Matthew
10:28, Hebrews 13:5,
Matthew 5:10-12, Verse 29 Acts 5:41, Ephesians 2:8)
6.being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good
work in you will complete it until
the day of Jesus Christ; 7.just as it is right for me to think this
of you all; because I have you in my
heart, inasmuch as both in my chains and in the defense and confirmation
of the gospel, you all are
partakers with me of grace. 8.For God is my witness, how greatly I
long for you all with the affection
of Jesus Christ. 9.And this I pray, that your love may abound still
more and more in knowledge and
all discernment, 10.that you may approve the things that are excllent,
that you may be sincere and
without offense till the day of Christ, 11.being filled with the fruits
of righteousness which are by Jesus
Christ, to the glory and praise of God. 12.But I want you to know,
brethren, that the things which
happened to me have actually turned out for the furtherance of the
gospel, 13.so that it has become
evident to the whole palacce guard, and to all the rest, that my chains
are in Christ; 14.and most of
the brethren in the Lord, having become confident by my chains, are
much more bold to speak the
word without fear. 15.Some indeed preach Christ even from envy and
strife, and some also from
goodwill. 16.The former preach Christ from selfish ambition, not sincerely,
supposing to add affliction
to my chains; 17.but the later out of love, knowing that I am appointed
for the defense of the gospel.
18.What then? Only that in every way, whether in pretense or in truth,
Christ is preached; and in this
I rejoice, yes, and will rejoice. 19.For I know that this will turn
out for my deliverance through your
prayer and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ; 20.according to
my earnest expectation and hope
that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but with all boldness as always,
so now also Christ will be
magnified in my body, whether by life or by death. 21.for to me, to
live is Christ, and to die is gain.
22.But if I live on in the flesh, this will mean fruit from my labor;
yet what I shall choose I cannot tell.
23.For I am hard-pressed between the two, having a desire to depart
and be with Christ, which is far
better. 24.Nevertheless to remain in the flesh is more needful for
you. 25.And being confident of this,
I know that I shall remain and continue with you all for your progress
and joy of faith, 26.that your
rejoicing for me may be more abundant in Jesus Christ by my coming
to you again. 27.Only let your
conduct be worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and
see you or am absent, I may
hear of yor affairs, that you stand fast in one spirit, with one mind
striving together for the faith of the
gospel, 28.and not in any way terrified by your adversaries, which
is to them a proof of perdition, but
to you of salvation, and that from God. 29.For to you it has been granted
on behalf of Christ, not
only to believe in Him, but also to suffer for His sake.
Philippians 2:16
16.holding fast the word of life, so that I may rejoice in the day
of Christ that I have not run in vain or
labored in vain.
Philippians 3:11-21(Verse 11 Luke 20:35, Acts 26:7, Verse 12 1 Timothy
6:12, Hebrews 12:23,
Verse 13 Hebrews 6:1, Verse 14 Hebrews 12:1, Romans 9:23-24, Hebrews
3:1, Verse 15 1
Corinthians 2:6, Galations 5:10, Verse 17 Psalms 37:37, 1 Peter 5:3,
Verse 20 Colossians 3:1, 3, 1
Corinthians 1:7, 1 Thessalonians 1:10, Verse 21 Psalms 17:15, 1 John
3:2, Isaiah 63:1, Matthew
28:18, Ephesians 1:19, Hebrews 7:25)
11.if, by any means, I may attain to the resurrection from the dead.
12.Not that I have already
attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold
of that for which Christ Jesus
has also laid hold of me. 13.Brethren, I do not count myself to have
apprehended; but one thing I do,
forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those
things which are ahead. 14.I
press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ
Jesus. 15.Therefore let us, as
many as are mature, have this mind; and if in anything you think otherwise,
God will reveal even this
to you. 16.Nevertheless, to the degree that we have already attained,
let us walk by the same rule, let
us be of the same mind. 17.Brethren, join in following my example,
and note those who so walk, as
you have us for a pattern. 18.For many walk, fo whom I have told you
often, and now tell you even
weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ; 19.whose
end is destruction, whose god is
their belly, and whose glory is in their shame-who set their mind on
earthly things. 20.For our
citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior,
the Lord Jesus Christ.
Colossians 1:22-28(Verse 24 Philippians 3:10, Ephesians 1:23, Verse
26 Romans 16:25)
22.in the body of His flesh through death, to present you holy, and
blameless, and above reproach in
His sight- 23.if indeed you continue in the faith, grounded and steadfast,
and are not moved away
from the hope of the gospel which you heard, which was preached to
every creature under heaven,
of which I Paul, became a minister. 24.I now rejoice in my sufferings
for you, and fill up in my flesh,
what is lacking in the afflictions of Christ, for the sake of His body,
which is the church, 25.of which I
became a minister according to the stewardship from God which was given
to me for you, to fulfill
the word of God, 26.the mystery which has been hidden from ages and
from generations, but now
has been revealed to His saints. 27.To them God willed to make known
what are the riches of the
glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the
hope of glory. 28.Him we
preach, warning every man and teaching every man in all wisdom, that
we may present every man
perfect in Christ Jesus.
Colossians 3:4(Verse 4 1 John 3:2, John 11:25, 1 Corinthians 15:43)
4.When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with
Him in glory.
1 Thessalonians 1:10(Verse 10 Romans 2:7, Philippians 3:20, Hebrews
9:28, 2 Peter 3:12,
Revelations 1:7, Acts 1:11, 1 Thessalonians 5:9)
10.and to wait for His Son from heaven, whom He raised from the dead,
even Jesus who delivers us
from the wrath to come.
1 Thessalonians 2:19-20(Verse 19 1 Thessalonians 2:3,13, Revelations
1:7)
19.For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing? Is it not even
you in the presence of our Lord
Jesus Christ at His coming? 20.For you are our glory and joy.
1 Thessalonians 3:13(Verse 13 Zechariah 14:5, Revelations 20:11)
13.so that He may establish your hearts blameless in holiness before
our God and Father at the
coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all His saints.
1 Thessalonians 4:13-18(Verse 13 Leviticus 19:28, Deuteronomy 14:1-2,
2 Samuel 12:20, Verse 14
1 Corinthians 15:13, Verse 15 1 Kings 13:17, Verse 16 Matthew 24:30,
Acts 1:11, Verse 17 Acts
1:9, Revelations 11:12, Revelations 21:3-4, John 12:26)
13.But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning thoe
who have fallen asleep, lest you
sorrow as others who have no hope. 14.For if we believe that Jesus
died and rose again, even so
God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus. 15.For this we say
to you by the word of the
Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord
will by no means precede those
who are asleep. 16.For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with
a shout, with the voice of an
archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will
rise first.17.Then we who are
alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds
to meet the Lord in the air. And
thus we shall always be with the Lord. 18.Therefore comfort one another
with these words.
