2 Timothy 1:12

For this reason I also suffer these things; nevertheless I am not ashamed, for I know whom I have

believed and am persuaded that He is able to keep what I have committed to Him until that Day.

Pastoral Care

As a church, we care about you and what is happening in your life.

If you go to the hospital, give us a call.

We want to be there before your surgery to pray with you, as well as visit you during you stay.

The pastor is available for personal or family counseling upon request.

Whatever the need may be, call for a time to meet with the pastor.

Beliefs

The Bible is our all-sufficient rule of faith and practice. Our cardinal doctrines are:

SALVATION through the blood of Jesus Christ and resulting in a life of holiness (1 John 1:7-9; Romans 10:9,10; Titus 3:5-7; Hebrews 12:14; 1 John 2:5,6).

BAPTISM WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT with evidence of speaking in tongues as the Spirit gives utterance

(Acts 2:4;10:44-46, &19:6)

DIVINE HEALING through the atoning blood of Jesus Christ(1saiah 53:5; Matthew 8:16,17; James 5:14,15)

SECOND COMING OF JESUS CHRIST (Luke 21:34-36; Acts 1:11;1 Thessalonians 4:16-18; Titus 2:13;

MINISTRY OPPORTUNITIES

CHRISTIAN EDUCATION NIGHT

Wednesdays 7:00 - 8:15

At Glad Tidings we take the study of God's Word and discipleship very seriously. That is why we set aside Wednesday nights for the soul purpose of Christian Education. Christian Education night starts with everyone gathering in the sanctuary for a brief time of praise and worship. Then the congregation is dismissed to go to classrooms designed for each age group.

We find that by moving discipleship training from Sunday morning to Wednesday nights,we have more time, so teachers are not rushed. After all, the point is not to hold classes but to truly "make disciples" (Matthew 28:19) of all people.

We are sure that those who attend our Christian Education classes will leave with greater understanding of God's Word and his will for their lives.

CHILDREN'S CHURCH

Sunday during morning worship

The Children's Ministry of Glad Tidings exist for three main purposes: Reaching children leading them to Christ, building a strong Christian foundation that will last the rest of their Lives and making Christianity and church a fun, enjoyable, and exciting experience for each child.
