Hi! Welcome to my world! I'm Yvonne and I'm so glad you stopped by. I am the mother of 4 children, a bereaved parent, a full-time student at the local Junior College, and the wife of a wonderful man. I love to collect! You name it, I collect it! I am a Christian and would love to share my faith with everyone. We have two dogs that are just like members of the family! As you might well imagine, our home is a busy one! I will have several links that you can follow where I share my faith, my interests, and my hobbies. All you have to do now is sit back and enjoy! Oh, just in case you were wondering, I LOVE to get mail so be sure and sign my guestbook and drop me an e-mail if you like!

God has blessed me with a wonderful husband Dan, who has been a true soulmate and another precious gift from Him. In December 1998, we celebrated 23 years of marriage. Our years together have not been without hardships, but throughout the struggles, our faith in Christ and our love for one another has grown stronger. We look forward to sharing many more years together.

Our home is a very busy place. Our oldest son, Nick will be a junior in college this fall. Although the decision concerning his major varies from week to week, he is now planning a double major in Christian education and history. He is looking toward pursuing a degree in law. Nick plays bass guitar with a Christian band on campus. You can visit their web site to learn more about the group, Days Of Lot.

Our only daughter, Emily will begin her senior year in high school this fall. She can hardly wait to get started in this all-important year. Emily is very outgoing and loves people. She is very active in our church and is currently involved with "Habitat For Humanity", an organization devoted to helping deserving families own their own home. Emily plays on the varsity volleyball squad at her school. Like her older brother, she also is interested in pursuing a law degree.

Andrew, our youngest child will be entering the 9th grade this fall. He loves to play basketball and hopes to try out and make the school team. Although Andrew is just a baby in Christ, he is earnest in his faith and shows a love and desire to please the Lord. He is the answer to this mother's prayer. For such a long time, Patrick's death took over more of my life than his living did. By being able to share his life and our experience with his death, with others, I feel I have been able to again see his life. Now when I think of him, I can see his mischievious smile. I can visualize him playing peek-a-boo with big brother Nick. I can almost hear him cry for me to come and get him out of his bed so that he can sleep with his daddy and me. I will always miss Patrick, but I now feel like I can live my life knowing that I will see him again in Heaven. I picture Patrick sitting at the feet of our Lord, Jesus Christ, as he tells him and other children stories about when He was a boy. He may be telling them about how He was born in a manger, surrounded by the animals, and how the three wise men came to see Him and brought Him gifts of gold, frankenscence and myrrh. I look forward to that day in glory!
