I have added my recommendations for some classical music CDs to listen to durning a star party or any other time. The teenage boys in my astronomy club listen to classical music when we have our star parties. I have decided that I should introduce them to more than the stars on those nights. Many of them really like it and the rest are coming around. :) Here are some of my recommendations.

Although I would not recommened the movie to anyone who loves God, I would recommend the soundtrack. The soundtrack has a good selection of Beethoven's music. I really enjoy this CD. This is the CD the Astronuts played while watching the meteor shower in Dec.

Everything You Always Wanted to Know About Classical Music

This CD is playing as I type this. This was the second classical music tape I bought when I began to get interested in classical music. I wore the tape out and had to buy a CD. It has a selection of all types of classical music. It is a good CD for a beginner in classical music. The Astronuts listened to this tape during the Leonid shower this November.

THE CHOPIN COLLECTION: THE NOCTURNS/ ARTUR RUBINSTEIN I love Chopin's nocturns. Do they ever complement a starry night!! A nocturn deals with evening or night and is a dreamy pensive composition for the piano. Chopin is the master of this form. You have to try his nocturns.
