Manton Area Historical Museum

The Manton Area Museum was officially opened Sept. 6, 1971. It is housed in the former Manton Power House and Waterworks building, where for many years, Manton generated its electric power.
The purpose of the Manton Area Historical Society and Museum is the preservation of the historical and cultural heritage of the Manton area. It also provides a public center for the display of artifacts and records pertaining to the people of Manton from it's earliest beginnings down to the present time.

We're located on US 131 in Manton, Wexford County, Michigan - "The Irish City".
