Dot is the co-ordinator of a group of ladies
whose common interest is sewing, in particular, using embroidery
machines. Brian gets involved on the technical side of things
such as unzipping files, digitising, sorting out computer
problems and jump starting their cars. He also dabbles in poetry
from time to time. Dot's group meet regularly to share
"oops's", successes and ideas regarding use of
stabilisers, threads, different fabrics as well as using scanners
and Computer design tools.
Various members of the group have Brother, Bernina, Janome
and Pfaff embroidery machines, and most have a Computer Design
Unit. They are always on the look out for new ideas, new software
and so on. Most members are now on the net.
We live in suburban Perth, the Capital of Western AUSTRALIA,
supposedly the most isolated State/Province Capital in the world
as a result of which, support, supplies and other resources are
not always what they should be. Almost everything has to come
from somewhere else.
I have to confess to being very slack in recent months and not
keeping this site up to date Its now Late 2003 and I
haven't touched it for about 3 years - there is just so much to do now that I'm retired - hopefully I can sort
out any problems, out of date stuff etc and maybe addd a bit by
this time next year.
Dot and Brian would like to hear from others who share their
interests.
