Indidualized Instruction for Every Learner Adventures in Learning
I can help you realize your dreams for a successful future by teaching strategies for learning that you can apply throughout life. I use personalized assessment and a variety of proven instructional methods to provide programs for home school learners, students in grades K-12, and students with special needs. Every learner with their teachers, family, and myself will develop an Individualized Learning Plan to set goals and objectives that we can all support the learner in achieving. I maintain close communication with classroom teachers and families throughout the school year to enhance learning. I hold a Masters degree in Special Education from the University of Northern Colorado and a Bachelors degree in Education from the University of Illinois. In addition, I am actively involved in several professional organizations and conferences. I have taught pre-school through grade twelve students in regular and special education programs. My philosphy is that all learners can be successful. The teacher's challenge is to empower students with the confidence to dream and the strategies to enable them to achieve their dreams as lifelong independent learners.
