Miss Iowa Achievement 1998

I organized the Billy Sanders Scholarship, which raised over $12,000 so far. This scholarship is in memory of Billy, who was a co-worker of mine. I also delivered meals to the elderly in my community for four hours every month. This is a very rewarding experience. The elderly are very gracious to see young people and happy to talk with someone.

I gave presentations at community career days and donated time to local schools. It is satisfying knowing that I am making a difference in our young people. After all, our future depends on them.
