This is how I entered the New Year, the 2K year, with no fear, in Berlin. I was there for four days with the Austrian army . Well not exactly but to me it seemed so, all alone with 13 Austrians. Did I say that they were really nice Austrians? I had a great time with them and I hope they've seen my photos of the trip!
The Siegesäule on New Year's Eve. The first and last sunny day we had there.
We were escaping the classical concert on the Siegesäule, and here we are on our way to Brandenburg Tor. A big Riesenrad was waiting for us.
After the 12 o'clock beat! I really don't feel like discussing if we've entered the new Millenium or just the year in between. Personaly it was just that the old one turned into a better and improved one
. What you see behind us (Markus, Karin and ... help?) is not the moon, but an imitaion.
Isn't it lovely!! New love! (Should I tell you that they were two guys?) Opps!!
Nothing can make you happier on a grey Berliner day than the orange cows!
So this was Berlin!
