February 20, 2000 Spent the week in Idyllwild. It snowed all day Monday and again on Thursday - it was beautiful. Derrick spent Wednesday and Thursday with us. This is what the poor snowman looked like by Sunday. Dale and Bobby came up for the weekend and as always, we had a great time. and cheese. "Friends and wine - the older, the better". |

July 1999 Bridgeport, AKA: Mono Village - Green Creek hike was awesome! Bob was kind of 'naggy' about taking off our 'wet' shoes and changing socks, but other than that he wasn't too bossy!!! :) Went to Lake Sabrina and the Mt. Whitney portal. Tentatively made plans to do "Mt. Whitney" - yeah, right! Best friends, best hiking - it doesn't get any better than this! |
