| Nature’s Ridge subdivision by The Zale Group The Zale Group is proposing the development of a new subdivision on the farmland directly North of Auburn Meadows. There will be 121 new single family homes constructed on the 80 acre site. The homesites are comparable in size to what we have at Auburn Meadows 12,000-20,000 sq. ft. Selling prices are expected to to start at $230,000 and go up to $270,000. Zale's proposal includes extending Auburn Lane into the new subdivision. Zale is also proposing that the main entrance to Natures Ridge will be on Savage Road. This may make Auburn Lane the preferred route for residents who wish to travel East on Grass Lake Road. The proposal has not yet been approved by the Village of Lindenhurst. There will be a Village Plan Commission meeting at the Lindenhurst Village Hall, 847-356-8252 on Monday June 12, 2000 at 7:00 p.m. Anyone with concerns should plan to attend this meeting, before the plan is given final approval.
