The Guilford Newcomers is primarily a social and civic interest club for women. We have numerous special interest groups that offer activities. Some are available for couples and children and others are reserved for "Ladies Only". New membership in our club is open to women who have lived in Guilford for eighteen (18) months or less. You can be a member for up to five years. The purpose of the club is to acquaint new residents of Guilford, CT, with one another and with their town and to provide them opportunities to participate in worthy causes in the community.
On June 5, 1973, our club was formed with a membership of 35. Today, we are a group of 150 and growing. We have a strong, well-established club due to a membership of women who enjoy working and socializing together through activities in a number of committees, special interest groups and monthly meetings. |
