| These are pictures from my recent trip to Vladivostok, Russia. We found a Baptist church and thought we would give it a try. There was 10 of us USS Cowpens sailors who attended and what a great time we had. I was personally amazed at the likeness we have as Christians. They love God and it really shows. Edward and Natalia (the Pastors daughter) were wonderful enough to take us out to eat and tour us around while we shopped for gifts. They opened up their beautiful home to us and she was our translator for church and the rest of our trip. It was a great memory that I will never forget. Praise God and pray for the Christians in Russia. |
