DALMATIANS
Brief History:
Horses accept Dalmatians, and they will not accept any other dog breeds. Even dalmatians with no training at all will follow a horse around. In the Horse and Buggy days, dalmatians were important to the carriage horses because they were their friends. When the horses would go out, the dalmatians would run along side the horses. No one really knows where the Dalmation actually came from. They think it was Egypt because of some drawings found on the walls that looked like dalmatians. Dalmatians also made fire stations popular. When they had a fire, the dogs would run ahead, and bark to warn people to get out of the way. Children also liked the dogs. They would come to fire stations to hear the heroic tales, and they would bring treats for both the dogs and the horses.
