My husband is bi-racial, 26 years old and we have a 2 year old daughter. I was married previously and my ex-husband has used just about every racial remark you can imagine. I also have two children with my ex-husband. My husband has always had to deal wit idiots but my ex-husband takes the cake. My husband's name is Sun. He is the kindest most loving person. Over the past 1 to 1 1/2 he feels like he doesn't fit in anywhere. He says his mom or dad has no idea what its like (Mom is White and Dad is Black) a d he really resents them sometimes for him having to deal with this racial mess. He says that if he could find someone like himself to talk to, to see how they deal with these problems, he thinks he could cope better by seeing how others cope. We are happy and our life is full. We look forward to our life togeth r and NEVER EVER use "If we weren't together...." Black or white we are committed to each other. Race has never and will never play a role because we do not see it as an issue. I would enjoy hearing back from you.

First of all, I would like to say congradulatate you for having the courage to place this page on the web, bi-racial stuff and all. I was raised prejudice by my family, but in addition to that, I am proud to say that my mother is not anymore and hasn't b en for years. We have talked about this subject and I have told her how proud I am that the cycle has stopped. I am teaching my children to love everyone as human beings, and not to judge them by the color of their skin, but to judge them by their chara ter (isn't that what Martin Luther King said). Your page is great, I read all of it believe.
