Hi and welcome to the McCollum Family Home Page - In Search of
Daniel McCollum.
Daniel McCollum Sr. was apparently born in N.J. in 1744,
fought in the Carolinas during the Revolutionary War. He
settled in Pendleton Co, S.C. In 1794, he and his family left
S.C. for Kentucky. They lived in Garrard, Madison and Clay
Counties. Around 1820, Daniel took up residence in Posey Co, Ind
and apparently lived there until his death in 1832.
This web page is dedicated to the search for Daniel's lineage
as well as his descendants, some of who stayed in
Kentucky and Indiana, while others left for Missouri and Ohio.
