Does anyone know the 'fertility age range' of male and female box turtles?
I'm asking this question since my 2 definitely male box turtles are at least 9 years old, each, and perhaps they are too old and not fertile anymore.

Has anyone successfully had their box turtles mate, then have babys in the Los Angeles area?
If so, I'm seeking information on the conditions that were in place to allow the mating and egg laying process to succeed.

Does anyone have a 'true' Female Three-Toed box turtle?
If so, I'm seeking information on the physical traits of that female box turtle, such as 'eye iris' coloration, tail 'base' thickness, or other female traits. I'm still trying to determine the sex of my T3 turtle. I'm starting to think it's a male based upon the standard published male box turtle traits.
