Musical Notes

Each of the following groups/artists are my favorites in Christian music. Right now it's only a brief description, but within the next few weeks, I'll get some more info up, as well as album reviews.

Point of Grace: These four awesome ladies have turned the Contemporary Christian music world upside down. They have won countless Dove awards, graced the top of the CCM charts, put out five wonderful albums, and sung their way into many hearts. I have another page that is about their fourth album Steady On, so this little section will be about the ladies, the first three albums, and their Christmas album.

Michael W. Smith: He's been around for as long as I can remember pumping out memorable tunes, such as "Friends" and "I Will Be Here For You". His latest release, This Is Your Time, has found a current home in my cd player. Heather and I saw him in concert about a year ago. Let's just say alot of drooling went on. :)

Michelle Tumes: Her beautiful voice nearly sent my blood cold the first time I heard her. Her first song, "Please Come Back," hit the top of the charts, as well as her first album Listen. I predict that this Australian beauty will go far.

DC Talk: This group composed of three guys has totally matured in the last seven or eight years. I remember their first album was nothing but cheesy rap, and their recent album is wonderful: beautiful lyrics, blended harmonies, touching and true songs.

Avalon: Two guys + two girls= awesome music. :) Avalon is a new group with their fourth album, a Christmas album, doing extremely well. They have come a long way since their first album, and I still enjoy their music.
