I AM THE DRAGON WITHIN



I am passion untold
I seek nothing that is not within my soul
I wish for nothing that is not obtainable
I am fire, I am ice, I am desirable

I am compassion born out of control
I see into the depth of sorrow so old
I hold to hope and walk willingly
I welcome delights new and old un-judgingly

I am contradiction, I am tenderness , I am strength so bold
I am what is searched for in ones longing soul
I am love filled with desire
I am Ice, I am the depth of passion’s fire

I am the welcomer of friendships light
I am all that is needed in the dark of night
Distance holds no claim on me
I am ice, I am fire yearning to burn free

All these things make up me
skies of blue and light flickering through the trees
I am the breeze that touches your hair
I am who you think of , when you stare

So believe what you will of the things you think you see
You will never truly know the truth of me
I am all that I should be to thee
No matter if you are to blind to see

I am ice that quenches loves thirst
I am fire that bonds but does not hurt
I am love so constant that it flows like the sea
I am what you need even if it can’t be

So drink me in and yearn in the night
hold me off  and cast me aside as you might
I am ice that moves the earth and sea
I am fire come be consumed by me
