Hi! Here is a little info about us, the Mommy and the Daddy. We met in June of 1992. We were both transplants in Nashville. Skipp was born on April 3, 1965 in Durham, NC and raised in Washington, PA. He moved to Nashville after graduating from West Liberty College in West Virginia in 1987. His parents had moved here while he was in College and he was promised a job with RCA Music. I was born on December 12, 1966 and raised in Southern California. I was hired in 1990 by American Airlines as a flight attendant and based in New York City for 19 months until I was able to transfer to Nashville. I have family on my mom's side here and that was my draw to Nashville.

I had lived here 6 months and placed a personal ad in a monthly paper called "Today's Single".  Skipp answered it and we talked for a couple of weeks before we could get our schedules coordinated and meet one another. We both shared a love for music, sports, and amusement parks! I am a big-time hockey fan (Detroit Red Wings!), and pull for all Michigan teams. Skipp is a true-blue Dallas Cowboys fan and also supports Penn State College ball.  With the addition of the Nashville Predators into the NHL in 1998, we both GOT BIT! and have become Predator fans and cheer them until our voices give out!

Skipp proposed to me on New Year's Eve 1992. We were married on October 2, 1993 in Nashville, Tennessee. We were able to take advantage of my job and fly first class to Aruba for 4 nights, and then to Los Angeles for 4 nights also. In L.A. we stayed with my parents and went to Disneyland and Universal Studios.

I worked 1 more trip after our wedding and quit. I hated the job and hated being away from home and Skipp. I took a job as an administrative assistant for a payroll company and quit when I became pregnant with Savannah. I've been a full-time mom ever since and although it can be frustrating, I wouldn't trade all the hugs I receive and the milestones I get to witness for any amount of money! Skipp is an ECommerce Specialist for BellSouth. He still blows his horn whenever he can with his band WHAT IS HIP! that he manages.

We had our first baby, Savannah, on June 7, 1995 and our second (& final)  baby, Leanne, on July 15, 1997. We feel truly blessed to have such sweet, beautiful girls. We couldn't have asked for anything better!
