It was a gorgeous day to see the Canyon... as you can see in the photos I've included. From left to right there's Heather, Ryan, Terry and Kristin. "Marvelous Marv" is the good-looking guy behind us. 

One fun thing that Marv did was take digital pictures of us throughout the day. He e-mailed them to me and they were available 3 hrs later when we arrived in Phoenix.  High tech stuff.

I was the only one in our family who'd seen the Grand Canyon before, and that was when I was about 9 or 10 years old. You know... I think it's gotten bigger in the last 35 years or so.

Next time the kids and I will go on a mule ride down the Canyon... provided I lose about 50 lbs. Their rules are that you've got to weigh no more than 200 lbs, including all of your gear. Unfortunately that leaves me out.
