On Valentine's Day 1997 we had dinner at the Macaroni Grill in Des Moines. Here's a photo of Paul & Mary Hoppe (Dale's parents). Also joining our family for dinner were Dale & his brother Keith; Randy, Lia & Stephanie Price; and Jim, Carol & Molly Hansen.

RIGHT:
After dinner, Kristin sang the National Anthem at the Iowa State-Western Michigan hockey game. Kristin poses with Stephanie Price & Molly Hansen before blowing out the birthday candles on her cheesecake.

LEFT:	A bunch of us went to the "Dean's List" (one of the Ames bars) to celebrate Kristin's "coming of age". Kristin is giving Dale an "L" on his forehead... it stands for "Loser". She got the idea from some of the intermission broomball players at the hockey game.
RIGHT:	Kristin got "lavaliered" by Dale for Valentine's Day. He's in the Adalante fraternity at Iowa State... and Kristin's a Pi (Beta) Phi.
