Here is the Recipe:
Hot Cocoa Mix
1 1lb box Nestles Quick
1 1lb box Confectioners Sugar
8qt box instant Powdered Milk
Mix well in a bowl and then store in a tight lid container. Use water and 1/4 cup of mix per cup of cocoa.
Serves 68

Special K Bars

1 1/2 cups white Karo Syrup
1 cup sugar
1 1/2 cups peanut butter
6 to 7 cups Special K Cereal

Put syrup & sugar in a medium size pan,cook until clear DO NOT BOIL,stir constantly. Mix in peanut butter, pour over cereal.Mix & pour in cake pan. Melt together in a medium bowl 1 cup Choc Chips and 1 cup Butterscotch Chips stir and frost.
Cool and cut into squares much the same as Rice Krispie Treats.

1 EGG WHITE
2 TEASPOONS WATER
1 TABLESPOON GRATED PARMESAN CHEESE
2 TEASPOONS GARLIC POWDER

LET PASTRY THAW FOR 30 MINUTES, THEN LAY IT ON A FLOURED SURFACE. PREHEAT OVEN TO 400 DEGREES. IN A SMALL BOWL, MIX EGG WHITE AND WATER. USE PASTRY BRUSH TO APPLY EGG WHITE MIXTURE ONTO ONE SIDE OF THE PASTRY. SPRINKLE WITH THE PARMESAN AND CUT PASTRY INTO STRIPS, 1/2 INCH WIDE AND AS LONG AS THE PASTRY. PLACE THE STRIPS ON AN UNGREASED COOKIE SHEET AND GENTLY TWIST SEVERAL TIMES. PRESS ENDS ONTO THE COOKIE SHEET SO THE STRIPS DONT UNRAVEL. BAKE FOR 10 MINUTES OR UNTIL GOLDEN BROWN.

1 can (15-16 ounces) garbanzo beans, drained and liquid reserved
1/2 cup sesame seeds
2 garlic cloves, cut in half
3 tablespoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon salt
raw vegetables or chips for dipping if desired

1. Place reserved liquid, sesame seeds and garlic into a blender or food processor. Cover and blend on high speed until mixed.

2. Add beans, lemon juice and salt. Cover and blend on high speed, stopping blender occasionally to scrape sides if necessary, until uniform consistency.

3. Spoon dip into a serving bowl, garnish with parsley.

MAKES 2 CUPS

2 PACKAGES(10 OUNCES EACH)FROZEN CHOPPED SPINACH, THAWED.
1 CAN(8 OUNCES)WATER CHESTNUTS, DRAINED AND FINELY CHOPPED
1 CUP SOUR CREAM
1 CUP PLAIN YOGURT
1 CUP FINELY CHOPPED GREEN ONIONS(9 MEDIUM)
2 TEASPOONS CHOPPED FRESH OR 1/2 TEASPOON DRIED TARRAGON LEAVES
1/2 TEASPOON SALT
1/2 TEASPOON GROUND MUSTARD (DRY)
1/4 TEASPOON PEPPER
2 CLOVES GARLIC, CRUSHED
RAW VEGETABLES OR CRACKERS FOR DIPPING, IF DESIRED.

1. SQUEEZE EXCESS MOISATURE FROM SPINACH UNTIL IT IS DRY. MIX SPINACH WITH REMAINING INGREDIENTS (EXCEPT CRACKERS) IN A GLASS OR PLASTIC BOWL.

2. COVER AND REFRIGERATE FOR ONE HOUR TO BLEND FLAVORS.



CARAMEL RECIPE - 11/19/97 16:16:51
Comments:
1/2 cup finely chopped pecans
2 cups sugar
1/2 stick butter
2 cups heavy whipping cream
3/4 cup light corn syrup

1. Grease bottom and sides of square pan 8 x 8 x 2 or 9 x 9 x 2 inches, with butter.

2. Spread pecan pieces in pan. Heat remaining ingredients to boiling in 3 quart heavy saucepan over medium heat stirring constantly. Cook, stirring frequently, to 245 degrees on candy thermometer. immediately spread over pecans; cool.

3. cut into 1-inch squares. Wrap individually in plastic wrap or waxed paper.

CHOCOLATE CARAMELS:

Heat 2 ounces unsweetened chocolate with the sugar mixture.
