We settled in North Carlton an inner city suburb of Melbourne. The children went to Princes Hill School , at first the primary school in Pigdon St., then the Central School in Arnold St. The family eventually moved to North Caulfield a beach suburb on the other side of town. I completed my Matriculation at Melbourne Boys High School. and managed to get into the Victorian College of Pharmacy where I graduated as Bachelor of Pharmacy. I am a practicing Pharmacist. I married in January 1971 and have two daughters Kerry born in 1973 and Natalie born in 1975.
My brother studied electrical engineering and now works as a builder. My sister qualified at Melbourne University as a Secondary School Teacher and now is employed as a teacher at Mckinnon High School which is close to where she and her family live. Our Father died in July 1990 and our Mother in 1995.
Eva and I married on the 31st January 1971. Eva's family arrived from Poland when she was ten years old and settled in Carlton. She and her sister Elizabeth attended Princes Hill School, and Eva Matriculated at Princes Hill High School. She went on to do Primary School Teaching which she worked at until Kerry was born.
Eva's sister was also born is Poland and she now has two boys. Elizabeth finished University in Melbourne as a Biochemist and was invited to UCLA San Fransisco to complete her Doctorate.. Her older son Victor was born in USA and Alex was born in Australia. Elizabeth writes freelance science articles for newspapers and radio stations. The family live in Melbourne Eva's parents live in Melbourne not far from their two daughters.
Kerry my older daughter graduated from Swinburne University with a Bachelor of Psychology and Psychophysiology and is now doing her Honours year. She hopes to go on in 1998 to do her Masters in Psychology. Natalie is studying Law and Business Management at Monash University Melbourne. She has finished her Business Management and is now completing her Law Degree.
I went into business as a pharmacist on the first on August 1977. I purchased Tucker Road Pharmacy an old established business. The business was started in 1951 In 1995 I completely renovated and enlarged the Pharmacy. My spare time I spent either with the family or with my hobbies. My hobbies are walking., dancing, photography and reading or just relaxing watching TV. When we can get away from the business we like to travel overseas. We have been to Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, Israel, Egypt We have been around the USA, South America and Africa and are planning Eastern Europe in 1998 I would like to go to India, Alaska ,Canada and the Caribbean. Most of my spare time right now, seems to be spent on the Internet.
