The Yancey Family Surname Resource Center and the Yancey Family Genealogical Database have become so large it is becoming increasingly difficult to keep things up to date and to stay on top of new and changing information. I would be happy to receive help in any of the following areas. Just send me an email and let me know what you would be willing to help me out with. Anything you can do to help me collect Yancey info and make the web site and the information it provides any better and up to date will be of valued not by just me - but by the hundreds of Yancey Researchers that access these sites.

Need	Details
Research into the Origins of the Yancey Family.	I wonder if researching some of the early families which the Yancey intermarried with might find clues as to the origins of the Yanceys Families like: Leighton, Bartlett, Crawford, Dumas, Kavanaugh and others
Masonic Records	Various of the early Yanceys were Masons - I wonder what records of a genealogical nature could be found among masonic archives.

Need to update the Yancey Family Researchers Database with more Yancey Researchers - from the Roots Surname List (RSL)	Please review all researchers listed under YANCEY/YANCY/YANCIE and compare to Yancey Family Researchers Database and advise me of any people that need to be added to the YFRD. Try to contact these people and verify the email - and ascertain their exact line of descent.

Update the YFGD with information from WorldConnect.	Look for Yancey Genealogical Information in the WorldConnect Database from any database other than the YFGD and see if information on branches of the Yancey Family can be found that have not yet been entered into the YFGD. Compile an organized compilation of findings.
