In Loving Memory

Of

Misty Lynn Kelley

July 17, 1988 - May 17, 1994

This picture was taken of Misty only a few days before her death. Her twin sister Kristy wanted it included in this memorial to her sister. Kristy says its her favorite picture of Misty. Misty’s dad is a horse trainer. Of all his children Misty was the horse lover ,just like her dad. She loved being around the horses, just like so many little girls do. She loved to help in anyway she could. Washing, grooming, or just plain petting and loving them. Misty was doing what she loved to do ,being with her dad and around the horses. Out of harms way, but close enough that every once in awhile she could take a peek to see the horses work. When things went wrong and in one very short instant Misty’s small life was taken. Misty was taken to a small regional hospital were she was then transported to Egleston. Where she died one and half hours later due to massive head trauma.

Misty was a little "fireball" with so much to give and not enough time to give it in. She is sadly missed and forever remembered by her Dad, Chris, her Mom ,Melissa, her twin sister, Kristy, her older brother, Chris, her younger twin brother and sister, Eric and Veronica, her grandparents and the rest of her family.

Misty’s love was Barney and if there were anything she would want you to remember was Barney’s song, and the words "..... I love you, you love me, we’re a happy family, with a great big HUG AND KISS from ME TO YOU......won’t you say you love me too.." we love you Misty.

TOGETHERNESS

Death is nothing at all.
I Have only slipped away to the next room.

Whatever we were to each other, we still are.
Call me by my old familiar name.
Speak to me in the same easy way you always have.
Laugh as we always laughed,
at the little jokes we enjoyed together.
Play, smile, think of me. Pray for me.

Life means all that it ever meant.
It is the same as it always was.
There is absolute, unbroken continuity.
Why should I be out of your mind,
because I am out of your sight?
I am but waiting for you for an interval,
somewhere very near, just around the corner.

All is well.
Nothing is past.
Nothing has been lost.
One Brief moment,
and all will be as it was before.....

Only better.

Infinitely happier.

We will be one together forever.

The above tribute was written and given byWendyBrown at Misty’s funeral
