My summer in Yellowstone National Park
I worked at Old Faithful Lodge during the summer of '95. I met a lot of great people and had a lot of great experiences! I have to really think about what I want to convey in this page, so check back soon! Hopefully it will be finished shortly!!
I do have some pictures with brief discriptions. I am scanning and uploading pictures as you read this! Come back periodically to see what has been added. So, without further ado........
Becky's Falls: My friends and I could see a waterfall in the distance but could not find any mention of it on our maps. What's the secret behind Becky's falls?
Geysers: What Yellowstone page would be complete without geysers! Yes, Old Faithful is included. Link here and find out why I hate her so much!
Crazy Weather: Okay, it's the second week in May and it's snowing! My mom laughed when I told her to send mittens.
Friends: The best part of working at Yellowstone? The great friends that you make! A lot of the pictures on here will also be linked to other pages, but I definitely feel that they deserve their own link as well!
Animals: This is going to be hard to believe, but I really don't have many pictures of animals, mainly bison (yes bison, NOT buffalo) and marmots. If you have pictures, send them! I want a better collection.
Hot Springs: Sorry, no pictures of Mammoth Hot Springs. In here are some of the springs in the Old Faithful area, most notably, Morning Glory pool. See why people can really stink.
Grand Tetons: Located between Yellowstone and Jackson Hole Wyoming. Check out our 10 women hike!
Miscelaneous: Everything else!! There were quite a few pictures that didn't warrant their own category. See the elk antler arches of Jackson Hole, Wyoming, and the lovely uniform I had to wear to work!
