Goldie Stanard was my grandma on my mom's side. her middle name was Paola, not initial 'L'. We don't know where this name came from. She had several other children besides the ones you have listed, including my mom. Goldie's first husband, my grandpa George E. Stanard, was descended from a Daniel Stanard, who is documented to be descended from the Mayflower John Stanard (Stonnard). I'll get all the information into a Brother's Keeper f le and send it to you. How are you related to the family? Lester only lived to be about 6 years old. My uncle Alfred had a distinguished Army career, including post-WWI and WWII. Aunt Alfreda had five children by two husbands, and my mom is next. There were four other children of the Nelson-Stanard marriage, three of them still living. I'll send you all of it. Thanks for the Spangler and Smith links. These are my husband's fathers family names. His great grandfather,Leonidas Radcliffe Burgoyne, supposedly came south from Delaware to fight in the Civil War, was injured, went back and then returned to the Mobile-Pensacola area to marry his nurse. Art's randfather, Silas Arthur Burgoyne was born in Delaware but the family came back south and lived out their lives in that Mobile-Pensacola area. I can't begin to tell you how excited I was to find the John Valentine Lynch family tree on the net. Just two weeks ago, I visited my Great Aunt Ursula Lynch Totzke in Albuquerque, NM. She just recently moved there to be closer to her children. She will e 90 this year. She talked about how much fun it was growing up on the farm in St. Joe. After I got home, I had lots of stories, but no dates. Finding this on the Web was a wonderful gift and I thank you for all your hard work!

hello Bill I don't know if we are related or not. I believe you have been in touch with my brother Doug McEntee in Hamilton Ont. Canada, (doug@networx.on.ca). He could tell you much better then I if we have any common ancestors. Though I have a feeling that even if e don't share any North American relatives, there could be some connection back in Ireland, maybe 300 or 400 years ago.
