On Feb.07,1999 our dear littke Axel lost her battle with adrenal Cancer . She had had 2 operations over the years to try and rid her of it. She had a spirit that wouldn't quit. Lately she was going into low blood sugar shock, on a regular basis. She also was having trouble keeping her balance. Her Vet Dr. Martin of the Harrisburg Area Animal Clinic a ferrets angel has done all he could and we did manage to get her a few years more. She is survived by her shelter sister Cloe and brother Casper both 5 . Axel was 6 yrs old . We will miss her but know that she has crossed Rainbow Bridge to join our other angels and to be with her friends . Especially her cyber friend Digger who founded the Diggers Shelter Ferret Club of which she was a member.
