KARASU OKA AKITAS

We are very proud of our family of Akitas and invite you on a tour of the kennel.  While there, you can:

take a peek at the past, our foundation;

get a view of the present, our current winners; and

even more importantly, see our progress .  .  .  .  a glimpse of the future.

Over the years, we have bred or co-bred over 60 champions, always with the goal of producing stable, predictable Akitas.  We have worked very hard to preserve their wonderful temperaments and thinking ability and believe our Akitas are ones that people can live with. Just ask our clients--we've become our good friends with many of them.  With  Karasu Oka Akitas as foundation dogs, some have gone on to their own successful breeding programs.

Our kennel name comes from the Japanese translation for where we live, atop Crow Hill in the tiny town of Mountain Grove, Missouri.  It's close to both Springfield and Branson.
