I am currently a stay-at-home mom who is homeschooling our son and just delivered a healthy, beautiful baby girl, Faith, in January. We have a lot of fun and try to keep learning a pleasure in life. Andrew is nine and a half years old now, and we are well into our 6th year of structured learning (as long as you count our preschool/kindergarten --- less than 180 days year) We are using a hodge-podge group of books, including several Abeka, Scott Foresman, and others. We spend a lot of time in our PE class --- taekwondo! To find out about his interests, click here!
I am married to a wonderful man, who I met at FC Lectures in 1990. He is a most kind gentleman that still makes my heart flutter. We have been married 10 years. This year our celebration took us to Dallas, TX, where we ate at the Old San Francisco Steakhouse ... wonderful filet mignion/sirloin (called a Texas T-Bone), baked potato, salad, bread and swiss cheese (in a huge block that they bring to your table and you slice what you want). We stayed at the Ramada Inn nearby. It was a quick trip to Dallas and back, and Andrew stayed with the Whittons (grandparents) near Canton, TX. We decided that this might be the last time we would get away for a while! Steve is a sweetheart that does all he can to help me cope with the pain from arthritis (including reflexology --- most wonderful foot massages). I am doing much better by the way! Before I got married, I worked for an independent grocery store doing their employee training and computer pricing. If the prices are wrong, don't blame me .... I haven't done that in over 12 years. While working there, I attended the University of Texas at Arlington and received by Bachelor's in Business Administration and Management. After Steve and I got married, I worked for Florida College in their Business Office. I quit the day I went into early labor with Andrew!!! The only outside work that I've done since then is Discovery Toys. If you are interested in that, e-mail me. (Although I no longer sell, I can find someone who does!)

I love cookbooks and individual recipes. Hopefully, I put a page up soon with my favorites! Send me your favorites ... I'd love to see them. Maybe I'll get a recipe from every state. If I do, I'll devote a page just for that!!!!
I love teaching children's Bible classes! I guess I've done that since I was a teenager. Recently, I have written songs to go with our Bible class lesson. I am not a pro, but sometimes they just seem to write themselves. Maybe soon, I'll have a page with those also!
Currently, I am teaching a ladies' Bible class with material from Our Spiritual Heritage!
