Mary Lizza lived in Fall River, Maryland and Cornelia lived in Washington, D.C. after leaving Bedford, Virginia.

Also worked at the Randolph Macon Academy and as an orderly at the Elks National home in Bedford, Virginia. an insurance agent for Virginia Mutual, he worked for another insurance company from Norfolk, Virginia.
