Ear Taping

DISCLAIMER-Results may vary depending on the individual dog. This is simply the method that we use to post the ears on our puppies after an ear crop. We feel that we have had very good results with all of our puppies. We are not responsible for any adverse results that you may achieve. If you use this method, you do so at your own risk.

We like to use this method because it is very simple, easy for one person to accomplish,  durable and unlike conventional taping, allows the ear to breath.

The materials needed for ear taping are very simple and resonably inexpensive.  You can get the pipe insulation at most building supply stores e.g. Home Depot.  The sports tape can be purchased at most drug stores. The hardest items to find are the "Skin Bond" adhesive and the "Uni-Solve" adhesive solvent. The major drug chains don't seem to carry them. We buy both at a small independent drug store.
