The newest series of pearl painted roses is the SEVEN SISTERS ROSES
however new florals such as the lily of the valley are added from time to time..
Pansy buttons have been added to the rose painted pearl buttons..
I hope to bring some new and interesting florals in the future..hope you enjoy ..marmee on angels wings..

Here I hope to share some of my artwork with you... done on very old
freshwater and ocean pearls...
I do try to use only the ones that are no longer
acceptable for use..
that is they have lost their luster over the years,,,
from too many scrubbings in the old tubs with lye soaps..etc..
Most of the pearl buttons that are found in the old tins..
were manufactured before 1950 or so..
as the factories along the Mississippi river were closed,,
when plastics entered the new age..
My thanks to all the aunties, grandmamas,
and all who saved these small bits of history for us..
as they will never be again.. as they once were..
