The Haught family is believed to have come to America from Holland in the early to mid 1700's. The oldest person that I have seen reference to is Peter Haut of Holland. He is supposedly the father of my line of Haughts.
Henry, son of Peter, was born in Holland, supposedly around Rotterdam, in the 1720's. The following connection will start you out with Henry and his brothers.
Most of the original material I had on the Haught Family came from a notebook my grandmother, Eva Pearl Haught, had kept. In it she recorded all the births, marriages, and deaths for her family. It wasn't until after her death that I came across this information and then it was too late to get an oral history to go with it.
