The Church exists for two purposes: To introduce people to Jesus Christ and to equip them to live Christian lives. Vernon Baptist attempts to fulfill these purposes in all of our activities, ministries, fellowship and workship. All that we do should be toward strengthening the individual's relationship with the Lord and with one another. Vernon Baptist is a "family" of believers. We love the Lord, we love one another and we love the church. We are never more fulfilled than when we care for one another, encourage one another, and grow in strength.
